These cutting boards are made from teak grown on sustainable plantations on the Pacific coast of Mexico. The wood ages beautifully, gaining warmer and richer tones over time. Proteak’s cutting boards are functional and durable while being gentle on knife blades. The boards require minimal care: simply wash with soapy water and apply mineral oil occasionally. Due to naturally occurring variations in the wood grain, no two Proteak cutting boards are identical.
Available in a variety of sizes and styles. A board with a juice groove is a good choice for carving roasts, keeping juices from running off onto the counter, while a flat board is ideal for serving charcuterie.
