William Morris was one of the most significant cultural figures of Victorian England and is widely regarded as the figurehead of the Arts and Crafts movement of that time. His designs are some of the most iconic and recognisable in the world today.
Golden Lily was designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. in 1897. Dearle took over as Art Director at Morris & Co after the death of William Morris in 1896.
